Be ready before you pay

Estate planning matters because these documents control who can act for you, who receives property, and how your family avoids delays and conflict. Use your real legal information only.

MYCAESTATEPLAN Essentials

$199

A basic estate-planning package for adults who want core incapacity and will documents in place.

  • Last Will and Testament — a standalone California will that names beneficiaries, an executor, and (if you have minor children) guardians. This is a real will, not a pour-over will, because the Essentials package is designed for people who are not using a Living Trust.
  • Durable Power of Attorney - lets someone handle financial matters if you cannot.
  • HIPAA Authorization - lets chosen people receive protected medical information.
  • Advance Health Care Directive - combines health care decision-maker designation and end-of-life preferences.

Best for straightforward adults and families who do not need a trust-based plan.

Intake opens after purchase.

MYCAESTATEPLAN Solo

$699

A concise California probate-avoidance trust package for one person with straightforward goals.

  • Individual Revocable Living Trust (with Schedule A asset list built in)
  • Certification of Trust — the short notarized summary banks and title companies accept under Probate Code §18100.5, so you never hand them your full trust.
  • Pour-Over Will — a will designed to work with your Living Trust. It “pours” any assets you did not retitle into the trust at death so everything ends up under one set of dispositive rules. It is included because you are buying a trust; it is not sold separately.
  • Durable Power of Attorney
  • Advance Health Care Directive
  • HIPAA Authorization
  • Assignment of Personal Property
  • Funding Instructions — plain-English steps for retitling bank and brokerage accounts and updating beneficiary forms, so your trust actually gets funded.
  • One California Deed (with PCOR / BOE-502-A) included for trust funding

Best for one person who wants a simple trust and coordinated supporting documents.

Intake opens after purchase.

MYCAESTATEPLAN Family Trust

$999

A simple shared California trust package for couples who want coordinated documents and a probate-avoidance plan.

  • Joint Revocable Living Trust (with Schedule A asset list built in)
  • Certification of Trust — the short notarized summary banks and title companies accept under Probate Code §18100.5.
  • Community Property Agreement — confirms community-property status so both halves of the family home and accounts get a full step-up in tax basis at the first death.
  • Two Pour-Over Wills — one for each spouse, designed to work with your Joint Trust. Each pours any unretitled assets into the trust at death. These are included with the Family Trust package; Pour-Over Wills are not sold separately.
  • Two Durable Powers of Attorney
  • Two Advance Health Care Directives
  • Two HIPAA Authorizations
  • Assignment of Personal Property
  • Funding Instructions — plain-English steps for retitling bank and brokerage accounts and updating beneficiary forms, so your trust actually gets funded.
  • One California Deed (with PCOR / BOE-502-A) included for trust funding

Best for happily married couples with shared goals and straightforward planning needs.

Intake opens after purchase.

Last Will and Testament

$149

Use this if you want to name beneficiaries, an executor, and guardians for minor children without a trust. This is a standalone California will, not a pour-over will. Pour-over wills are only included with the Solo Trust and Family Trust packages.

Durable Power of Attorney

$79

Lets someone you trust handle legal and financial matters if you cannot act for yourself.

Preview of the HIPAA Authorization

HIPAA Authorization

$49

Allows the people you choose to receive protected medical information.

Preview of the Advance Health Care Directive

Advance Health Care Directive

$79

Combines health care decision-maker designation and end-of-life preferences in one California-statutory form (Probate Code § 4600 et seq.).

Why one document, not two? California's statutory Advance Health Care Directive replaces the older separate “Healthcare Power of Attorney” and “Living Will” forms. One signed AHCD appoints your health-care agent and records your end-of-life preferences in a single instrument that hospitals and physicians are trained to accept. Together with your HIPAA Authorization, these two documents form a complete health-care decision-making package.

Additional California Deed

$199

Use this to fund an additional California property into your existing revocable trust.

What you get:

  • One completed California Grant Deed transferring the property into the revocable trust identified in your intake.
  • The exact official fillable PCOR (BOE-502-A) for the selected California county, mapped and pre-filled from the same intake. PCOR is bundled with the deed and is not sold separately.
  • Signing and recording instructions for submitting the notarized deed and signed PCOR together.

Trust Amendment

$59

Update supported provisions of an existing individual revocable living trust while keeping the rest of the trust in effect.

Each selected topic becomes a separately numbered amendment article: successor trustee, beneficiary distribution, specific gifts, or distribution age. $59 per topic.

Limited self-service scope: only for a living, competent settlor who is also the current trustee of an individual California revocable trust and can follow the amendment method stated in that trust. Joint, irrevocable, deceased-settlor, incapacity, tax-planning, and custom-clause matters require an attorney.

Will Codicil

$39

Change supported provisions of your existing California will—executor, guardian, beneficiaries, or specific gifts—while reaffirming the rest.

Flat $39. A codicil must be signed with the same California formalities as a will, including two witnesses present at the same time. For broad or conflicting changes, a new will may be safer; consult an attorney.
